Harrowhark Nonagesimus

Blorbo from my shows books !!!
This book series has forever changed me, I'll never recover from them. Harrow in particular has infected my brain, reading Harrow the Ninth rewired my brain. No, I can't tell you what is reality in there. That's why it's so good !!
I love Muir's writing style, she's one of the best writers I've ever had the joy of discovering. Also, love her dedication to representation. It's not just the lesbians (though it certainly helps lol) but also mental illness. This is why I love Harrow sm- it's such a real and raw experience. Muir's experiences of schizophrenia informing Harrow's character and story really makes it something special, especially as another traumatised mentally ill lesbian. I can see a lot of myself in Harrow, and it makes me really happy to know there's a series that is putting in the effort for such good rep. Fortiche PLEASE ADAPT IT I'M BEGGING YOU-
Gideon Nav
If Harrow is constantly rotating in my brain, Gideon holds a special place in my heart. Love me a silly butch, especially when she comes hand in hand with swords and Extensive Trauma. That sounds...wrong, but hey. You read the Harrow box above this. I'm weird about these lesbians.
I love everytime we get to have her as a narrator; the first book was hilarious and heartbreaking, the second's twist genuinly made me scream when the pieces fell into place. She really is the saddest girl ever, isn't she? God, I'm going insane in the Alectopause...I swear, Muir, let these girls have some kind of happy-ish ending. Personally prefer if it's full lyctorhood, makes sense with all the Details in the books...could write an essay but I won't force that on you rn.
Also, to anyone who says the fanart of her as Big and Beefy is """innacurate""" based off the Ninth House diet....ssshhhhhhh let me have this. Let me have Big Butch with Big Sword £££
