Interview with the Vampire- Anne Rice It's famous vampire lit...there's stuff to enjoy, sure, and it's cool to see how many modern vampire tropes are based on this. But the TV show is better, sorry. Certainly a more comfortable experience lol- Anne Rice may have learnt slavery is bad, but it's still...y'know O_O
#DRCL midnight children- Shin-ichi Sakamoto I am currently on the first volume and have the second, am really enjoying it! Art is fucking gorgeous
I Don't Know Which is Love- Tamamushi Oku Cannot believe I forgot this one- it's really fun so far! Have the first 2 volumes and I love my silly useless lesbian rep!

Movies

Faves
Stardust (2007) Fuck Neil Gaiman, best parts of this film are the original bits
Howl's Moving Castle (2004) Howl is a he/him lesbian, argue with the wall. Also Welsh king in the book!! But yeah love Miyazaki in this house, especially love the commitment to anti-war messages even if it deviates from the book. They're two different takes with two different intentions ig
Bullet Train (2022) You ever watch something and feel your brain chemistry changing? Yeah, I love this movie sm
Elvira Mistress of the Dark (1988) Saw her at age 13 and was forever changed
Recent Watches
But I'm a Cheerleader (1999) Lesbian classic, loved every second of it. I wish more movies had such fun colours in them
American Mary (2012) I saw some very attractive women dress up as Mary for Halloween, so I had to check it out. Enjoyed it, warning for SA- it happens on screen so...Also ik other people don't know much about body mods but..was it really all that extreme or weird? Those Germans had play peircings in, that threw me. Those usually aren't permanent lol. Also wtf was the ending
The Substance (2024) That...was a movie...
I get it, but...wow ok yeah...
Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022) Had to sit in silence, barely moving, after this finished for like 15 minutes?? Warning: if you have a complicated relationship with yout mother, bring tissues
To Watch
Perfect Blue (1997) Saw it ages ago- I was young and couldn't really get it, however it should be required viewing before interacting with celebrities/influencers/basically anyone these days, really
One Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest (1975) Watched Ratchet (tv show) when it came out and was curious over the source. Watched a video essay on the film and the book so interest has been regained lol.

Shows

Favs
Dungeon Menshi (2024) Came for silly fantasy cooking show, stayed for fantastic worldbuilding and the realest autism rep I've ever seen. Also reading the manga, am well into it now
Watching
Jujutsu Kaisen Seen S1, started S2, no one talk to me. I've seen the spoilers, I'm being brave
Dandadan (2024) This is the highlight of my week. Every episode I fall in love with the main 2 more, first time in ages I've been so excited over a straight ship lol
To Watch
Nana (2006) Another thing I watched really young but didn't take in. I know they're not lesbian, but they fucking should have been
Arcane (2021) Ik ik, I'm a bad lesbian, everyone else has seen it. Yes, it was Tumblr (and friends) that convinced me.
